River Picnic – Aug 27, 2023As I left the Rainbow Falls area I noticed a mother and son sitting on the rocks in the riverbed. Normally this spot would be deep underwater, but not this year. A great way for them to end the summer vacation.

Smoke on the Hillside – Field BCDid a trip to Calgary and back. Going there the smoke from the 2023 spring fires came over western Canada.
On the way back it dissipated a bit once I got to field BC so I stopped and grabbed this shot of the smoke and clouds.

3 Sisters (1) – March 22 2023On my way back from a delivery to a customer I stopped overnight in Canmore AB. The next morning I took a flight with Alpine Helicopters Tours of Mount Assiniboine and the great divide.
I was in the co-pilot seat and there was not a cloud in the sky or a breeze in the air. One of the better flights I have had.

Hwy 1 Pano – East of RevelstokeWas about 30 minutes east of Revelstoke when the hiway was closed for avalanche control. Ended up parked there for about 1 1/2 hours. This is a 5 shot pano looking east from where I was parked on the hiway. Again clear skies and a warm day.

Mount Sir Donald – Selkirk MountainsNovember 13 2022 - Made a trip to AB to deliver some parts and the skies were clear. Stopped at a lookout along the road and caught this image of Mount Sir Donald. Coming back 3 days later everything was shrouded in cloud.

Machu Picchu May 2013May 2013 - Machu Picchu historic site. As part of my trip to South America in 2013 - I went to Machu Picchu. Was there on the 2nd day early in the morning and of course it was raining and I caught a cold. But I did get this great shot.

CopaxtiMay 2013 - Cotopaxi Volcano is an active stratovolcano in the Andes Mountains, located in Latacunga city of Cotopaxi Province, about 50 km (31 mi) south of Quito, and 31 km (19 mi) northeast of the city of Latacunga, Ecuador, in South America. The snow ridge you see fell a few years later and killed a number of people.
